About the House Democrats
The Democrats of the Oklahoma House of Representatives are committed to putting the people of Oklahoma first and working to move Oklahoma forward.  For the 2009 legislative session, our top priorities include growing Oklahoma’s economy, developing new energy industries, and protecting Oklahoma families.  We believe in common-sense solutions to the top concerns of the people of our state.  Though the nation faces difficult economic conditions and tight budget restrictions, we believe that we must continue to make smart investments in our state’s future, while maintaining critical services at a time when people need them most.
